What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address and profile picture from Google when you sign in.
- Connected accounts: when you connect a social platform, we receive access tokens and basic profile information (account id, name, handle, picture) from that platform. Tokens are encrypted at rest and are only used to publish and read the content you ask us to.
- Content you publish: videos, images, captions and settings you send to Reelspan, kept only as long as needed to publish them and to let you retry (7 days after publishing by default), then deleted.
- Usage and security logs: API requests, IP addresses and an audit log of account actions, used for security, abuse prevention and support.
- Website analytics: on reelspan.com we use Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages people read and where they came from, and whether they sign up. It sets cookies outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland; inside them it runs without analytics cookies. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. The Reelspan app and dashboard do not use it.
- Billing: payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. We receive subscription status, not your card details.

How we use it
To publish content to the platforms you choose, show you results and history, send notifications you configure (email and webhooks), bill your plan, keep the service secure, and answer support requests. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your content to train AI models.

Data from Google and YouTube
Reelspan’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube access is used only to upload the videos you send and to show your channel name. Reelspan uses YouTube API Services; see the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Retention and deletion
Media is deleted 7 days after publishing. Disconnecting a platform deletes its tokens immediately. Deleting your workspace deletes its profiles, connections and history. You can delete your account, or have a copy of your data emailed to you, from Settings in the dashboard, or email [email protected].

Security
Platform tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, API keys are stored only as hashes, all traffic uses TLS, and access to production systems is restricted and logged.

Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to its processing. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
