What you can post to Instagram
- Posts: videos and photos.
- Shapes: 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1, 9:16 first.
- Caption: up to 2,200 characters.
- Videos go out as Reels; photos as a post or a carousel, videos mixed in.
- Up to 30 hashtags and 20 mentions; add collaborators and a cover frame.
- Stories too, one photo at a time.

From the dashboard
- Connect your Instagram account to a profile, with Instagram’s own sign-in.
- Write the post once; the composer checks Instagram’s limits and lets you change the text just for Instagram.
- Post now, pick a time, add it to your queue, or repeat it every day, week or month.
