What you can post to LinkedIn
- Posts: videos, photos, text posts and PDF documents.
- Shapes: 1:1 and 16:9, 1:1 first.
- Post text: up to 3,000 characters.
- Post as yourself or as a Company Page you admin.
- PDFs go out as a swipeable document post.
- The first two lines show before “see more”: lead with the hook.

From the dashboard
- Connect your LinkedIn account to a profile, with LinkedIn’s own sign-in.
- Write the post once; the composer checks LinkedIn’s limits and lets you change the text just for LinkedIn.
- Post now, pick a time, add it to your queue, or repeat it every day, week or month.
