How they differ
| TikTok | YouTube | |
|---|---|---|
| Posts | video, photos | video |
| Shapes | 9:16 | 9:16, 16:9 |
| Text | 2,200 characters | 5,000 characters |
| Title | None | 100 characters |
| Options | Captions, privacy, duet and stitch settings | Title, tags, privacy, playlist |
A 9:16 video works on both without cropping. The text limit differs (2,200 against 5,000), so write a shorter version for TikTok in the same post.

In the dashboard
- Connect TikTok and YouTube to the same profile.
- Pick both in the composer, add the video and the caption, and change the text for either one if it needs its own.
- Post now, schedule, queue or repeat it. Each network’s result shows on its own, with one-click retry if one fails.
